Shopping
You can order products displayed on this website
(1) by telephoning us on 01483 223274
(2) by posting to us a completed copy of the cartridge order form or
(3) on-line.
If you have placed your order on-line, we will quickly send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. The email confirmation will be produced automatically so that you have confirmation of your order details. The fact that you receive an automatic confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet your order. We do stringent checks against credit card fraud.
For security reasons we log your IP address. Any orders found to be fraudulent will be passed on to the relevant authorities and your ISP.
Our prices are shown on our website. They include VAT. We try to make sure that the prices on our website are accurate but we will need to validate the price before we process your order. We also aim only to display items which are in stock and which can be dispatched to you quickly. Items purchased marked Out of Stock will be despatched as soon as available at no extra costs. If we are unable to supply a particular item which you have ordered or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund.
The total price is automatically updated on the Check Out page when you select your preferred choice of delivery
There is an extra charge for delivery if you are outside the UK mainland. For goods exceeding 2000g shipped to Europe - contact us for a quotation prior to placing your order.
Payment
You can pay using your Credit or Debit card. There is no surcharges added to the cost of the items bought online. To ensure that shopping on-line is secure, your credit/debit details will be encrypted to minimize the possibility of someone being able to read your details as they are sent via the Internet. Look for the lock icon in the status bar and the https://secure section of the address bar when you go to the check-out page.
The prices displayed on the web site, are in British pounds. If you are not in the UK, the amount will get converted to your local currency by your credit card company.
Discounts
Promotional online discounts only apply to goods that can be purchased online via the check out procedure - Ammunition is not discountable.
Gift Vouchers
To use your voucher when ordering online, enter your voucher number in the Add comments about your order box during the payment process alternatively contact us by phone on 01483 223274. Online purchases will be refunded by the value of your voucher and an email will be sent confirming the refund. Vouchers can only be used to settle personal purchases from www.surreyfieldsports.co.uk either in full or part payment. Change cannot be given. Vouchers can not be used against discounted items. Free vouchers are based on the total purchase value of the goods but exclude carriage costs. Ammuniton is excluded from vouchers. If the order exceeds the amount of the voucher, the ballance must be paid by credit or debit card. The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. No refund of money will be made for vouchers once they have been purchased. Surrey Field Sports cannot accept responsibility for the loss or theft of a voucher after it has been issued. Please keep your vouchers safe until you use them. Surrey Field Sports reserves the right to withdraw Gift Vouchers without notice. Please note that some products available for sale on the website may not be purchased by persons under a specified age. If are planning to give a Voucher to someone under 18 years of age, please ensure that they are made aware that some products are unavailable to them.
Returns
We believe that you will be delighted with your product but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible. The first thing to do is contact us either by telephone or e-mail. If a return is the only option we will give you a returns number to quote on the return.
Under the European Union Distance Selling Directive you are entitled to a 7 day cooling off period. This means you can return your order in its original condition to Surrey Field Sports within 7 days of the date on which you receive it. You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon delivery. If you return the product in its original condition, we will refund you any money which you have paid us for that product less an admin fee of £4.00 plus original carriage. All you pay for is the return postage of the goods.
Our responsibility
We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorized access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control.
We will not be responsible for your loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
You will be responsible if you use this website in breach of these terms of use and will reimburse us for any loss that you cause to us as a result of your misuse.
We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free. Because of the nature of the Internet, the shopping online service is provided on an as is and as available basis. We are not responsible to you if we are unable to provide our Internet services for any reason beyond our control.
